Message From Registrar

The mandate of the Registrar’s Office includes the following key responsibilities:

  1. Trainees Admissions and Enrolment
  • Oversee the admissions process, including application reviews and enrolment procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of trainee’s admissions and ensure compliance with Mawego National Polytechnic policies.
  1. Academic Records Management
  • Manage and maintain trainees’ academic records, including transcripts and certificates.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of trainee’s records.
  1. Curriculum and Course Management
  • Assist in the development and implementation of academic programs and curricula.
  • Coordinate course schedules and registration processes for trainees.
  1. Compliance and Accreditation
  • Ensure that the institution adheres to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for accreditation reviews.
  1. Graduation and Certification
  • Organize graduation ceremonies and ensure the issuance of certificates and diplomas to graduates.
  • Maintain records of graduates and follow up on alumni engagement.
  1. Advising and Support Services
  • Provide academic advising and support services to trainees regarding course selection and academic progress.
  • Address trainees’ inquiries and concerns related to academic policies and procedures.
  1. Data Management and Reporting
  • Collect and analyze data related to trainee enrolment, performance, and retention.
  • Prepare reports for Mawego National Polytechnic planning and decision-making.
  1. Collaboration and Communication
  • Work collaboratively with administration and other departments to support the academic mission of the institution.
  • Communicate effectively with trainees, staff, and external stakeholders.
