Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that identifies and certifies skills gained through informal and non-formal experiences such as work and training. At Mawego National Polytechnic, our RPL program helps skilled individuals gain formal qualifications quickly and easily through a four-step process: awareness and sensitization, counselling, evidence collection, and assessment. Candidates are guided by certified RPL practitioners who offer full support, from application to final assessment. Evidence such as work samples and certificates is reviewed against approved Occupational Standards, and successful candidates are awarded recognized qualifications.
